MOON IN A POT BROOCH
Andrew Logan is an artist who delights in creating wearable art. This blue moon brooch was created in 2020 and Andrew Logan hopes this one-off piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.
The pot part of the brooch is a fragment of iridescent, crackle glaze ceramic in a deep aquamarine colour. This has been laid over a bright royal blue resin and a crescent moon has been added, comprises of two pieces of rich blue mirror glass. The edges of the pot and the moon have been embellished with a bright blue glitter that adds extra sparkle to this unconventional brooch.
The brooch measures approximately 7.5 by 11 cm at its widest points and weights 33 g. It has a safety pin embedded in the rear to affix to your favourite garment and will add a splash of colour and sense of fun.
