ORIGINAL WATERCOLOUR OF POTS IN BEVERLY HILLS - BY ANDREW LOGAN 1991
Andrew Logan painted this watercolour in 1991 at John and Joan Menkes’s house in Beverly Hills. He was taken by the fabulous array of pots collected by the painter, Joan Simon Menkes and her husband, Dr John H Menkes whilst staying with them on part of his travels. Their house was built in the 1930’s and one of the only houses in Beverly Hills to have a central courtyard. John and Joan became trustees for the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture and there is a stained glass window dedicated to Joan within the gallery, however, both Menkes are sadly no longer with us
The painting has been created in watercolour on quality art paper with approximate dimensions of 10 x 14 inches, or 25.5 x 35.5 cm. It has been titled, signed and dated by Andrew Logan and is a certified original which should not be copied without Andrew Logan’s written permission. The portrait-orientated watercolour is mounted on art board but supplied without a mount. It will be securely packaged as a flat parcel and posted using tracked delivery.
