Each piece of Andrew Logan's wearable art embodies a unique and joyful vision of the universe. The Peace Herald is a statement necklace that can also be worn as a brooch, or hang as a piece of art in your home.  The work of art was created by Andrew in 2019 although the pegasus wing comprises of an Octopus brooch that he previously created in 2012.

The body of this exquisite piece is covered with cream, peach and brown coloured shell segments, white, curved glass fragments, small shells, fresh water pearls and mirrored discs. The mane is made of pale cream shell and the tail uses slightly darker, peachy tones. The wing of Peace Herald comprises a white glass, convex disc laid over a pale resin and surrounded with pearls.  The wing feathers are appliquéd with numerous small pearlescent beads and clear cylindrical beads and the edges embellished with cream glitter. The main body of the pegasus has also been laid over a white resin and the edges finished with mainly white and some pale multicolour glitter.

The Peace Herald has been signed and dated by Andrew and is a intricate work of art.  It has a pearlescent beaded necklace attached to two silver coloured metal rings and a safety pin embedded within the resin at rear.  Its dimensions and approximately 35 by 30 cm and the depth is around 5 cm.  The beaded necklace measures approximately 67 cm and the total weight is 885 g.

Due to the high value, weight and delicate nature of the sculpture it requires specialist shipping. A trackable, signed-for delivery within the UK will cost in the region of £200, however, if the sculpture is collected from Berriew, or a cheaper delivery alternative becomes available, a refund will be offered for postage and packaging.  International shipping will be calculated on an individual basis.
