PURPLE RIBBON BROOCH
Andrew Logan designed this mini piece of wearable sculpture in 2022 and as with all Andrew Logan's jewellery, it has been signed and dated by him.
The purple ribbon brooch is made with six fragments of aubergine glass set into a twisted ribbon of black resin and decorated with purple glitter.
Approximate dimensions are 5 cm in length and 3 cm at the widest part. It can be affixed to any item by a small safety pin at the rear.
Whilst being a beautiful accessory, a purple ribbon can be worn to represent pancreatic cancer and epilepsy. It is also a symbol for Alzheimer's disease, lupus, animal abuse, Crohn's disease, cystic fibrosis, fibromyalgia, sarcoidosis awareness, thyroid cancer, ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder), and religious tolerance. This subtle but meaningful brooch will make a charming addition to any outfit.
