RED AND GOLD STRIPED LONG PENDANTS, 1993
Andrew Logan earrings are handcrafted jewellery and as such, the pair is not identical and neither is there more than one pair made with the same design. Each unique clip-on or pendant earring bears Andrew Logan’s signature and the date it was created. This unusual pair were created in 1993, inspired by one of Andrew Logan's trips to china. Andrew Logan hopes this one-off, designer piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.
These pendant earrings are made up of nine pieces of alternating red and gold rectangular mirror fragments, five gold and four red. At the top of each pendant is a triangle shaped red mirror piece. These mirror fragments have been set into black resin, the edges of the resin have then been painted gold giving the earrings a shining finish.
A gold hook is located at the top of the pendants which measure approximately 2cm and the earrings themselves measure approximately 2 by 7.5 cm at the widest points and weigh 8g.
