Each piece of Andrew Logan jewellery is a one-off design, hand-made by Andrew and bearing his signature. This brooch pin was created in 1994 and has been named 'Russian Rolly'.
The brooch is a classic example of Andrew's work using tessellated cracked mirror, set over dark resin and embellished with black glitter. The 'Russian Rolly' headdress is made up a pieces of red, blue and amber mirror glass embellished with purple crystals and glass beads. Closest to the eyes, is a row of black facetted beads with a pewter coloured crystal at either end and the face is made from a cracked silver mirror decorated with eyes, nose and mouth.
This is a stunning piece of wearable sculpture and measures approximately 8 cm at its widest point and around 10.5 cm in length. It weighs 52 g and can be secured to any item using the safety pin on the reverse.
