IRIDISCENT POLLINATOR MASK, 2025
You can be a Pollinator too!
This new butterfly mask has been created by Andrew Logan in his signature style using mirrored glass and gems from his treasured collections.
This beguiling design has been created using tessellated pieces of unusual iridescent, oil-slick like glass. At the top of the wings, Andrew has placed a pair of eyes, which he found in Vrindavan, India. The bottom half of wings feature gems and embroidered textile pieces, incorporating peacock feathers. Andrew has etched his signature and the year that the piece was created (2025) on a piece of dark glass at the centre of the mask, framed by glass beads. The eyes of the mask have bee framed with purple gem beads. At the top of the mask, two purple glittering antenna shimmer with crystals. The whole mask shines with purple, gold and multicolour glitter, making this mask truly enchanting!
This piece of Wearable Art measures approx 23 x 22cm. Andrew hopes this one-off, designer piece of wearable sculpture brings you, and everyone around you, fun and joy.
