Don't miss this scintillating celebration of the Andrew Logan Museum Of Sculpture's grand opening in 1991.

Each year Andrew invites a special guest to reopen the Museum to celebrate another year of sharing his work with visitors from across the globe. This year, Ceramic Artist Kate Malone will open the Museum as we move into our 32nd year of joyful, sparkling and exuberant life. Come and celebrate with us!

Watch as a shimmering cascade of model-works-of-art, dressed by Andrew Logan and featuring make up by the wonderful Rosie Hammick descend upon the museum, laden with eye-opening and delightful wearable art pieces, dancing to music mixed and created by the late, great Andy D.

Not to be missed!

Kate Malone

Kate Malone is one of the UK’s leading ceramic artists with an illustrious career spanning thirty years. She lives with her husband and daughter in Kent where she also has her studio.

Having spent many years creating unique, hand-made pots and intricately ornamented sculptures, Kate has developed an unmistakable and highly regarded style, leading her to be appointed as judge on ‘The Great British Pottery Throw Down’.

“In my own ceramic art work I am inspired by the optimism and joy in nature. My highly-coloured, natural forms brim with a sense of growth and abundance and aim to communicate the 'Life Force' to the viewer.”

Kate's inspiring artwork can be seen in the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, Manchester City Art Gallery and the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, amongst many other places!

This event is taking place at The Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture.
