EGYPT REVISITED BROOCH
This wonderful "Egypt Revisited" Brooch is part of a special collection of Andrew Logan's wearable art for Father's Day 2022, curated by designer / pop artisan duo Whitaker Malem.
Andrew Logan's wearable art includes a vast collection of unique handmade brooches. This particular brooch was made by Andrew in 2021 and has been signed and dated on the back. The brooch also has 'E Revisited' written on the back, referring to Andrew Logan's artwork Egypt Revisited, inspired by the pyramids in Egypt, which is exhibited at his Museum of Sculpture in Berriew, Wales.
The simple brooch has been created using a large triangle of orange mirror. This sits above a row of five white beads with a silver band around their centre. All of these pieces are set into a resin base which has then been covered with orange glitter giving the edges of the brooch a beautiful shine.
The brooch measures approximately 15 by 8 cm and weighs 37g. There is a gold safety pin on the back which can be easily attached to the clothing of your choice.
