"STELLA" - RED LIPS BROOCH, 2023

This new brooch is part of a special collection of Wearable Art recently created by Andrew Logan, and styled by designer Roberta in fabulous new collection, Desire For Duende.

THE RED LIPS.

Inspired by Andrew’s great friend Patricia Quinn – whose iconic pout takes centre-stage in the opening sequence of “The Rocky Horror Show” film, the Red Lips are a much loved Andrew Logan design, taking centre stage on the runway at Paris Fashion Week in 2023 when Stella McCartney used the design to style several of her looks. Andrew often creates lip portraits as part of the process of creating his iconic mirror portraits. He has recently created lips for his friend, artist Daniel Lismore.

Formed of red mirrored glass, set into red resin, which has been covered on all sides by sparkling red glitter. This is a truly standout piece of Andrew's wearable art.

This piece measures approximately 10 by 3.5cm at its widest points and weighs 16g. It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded into the back of the brooch.

STELLA has been handmade with joy by Andrew Logan in his studio in mid-Wales. Each piece of Wearable Art is signed and dated by Andrew on the reverse.
