BLUE DISCO CRYSTAL HEART BROOCH, 2023

Andrew Logan's iconic heart brooches are one of his most loved pieces. Andrew hopes this unique heart brings joy wherever it goes.

This dazzling blue heart brooch was one of the first pieces Andrew created in 2023.

A real showstopper, this sparkling brooch features a triangle of vibrant teal blue mirrored glass which is framed on side edges by a variety of crystal beads and a string of iridescent, petrol blue pearls. Particularly fun on this piece are the tiny iridescent disco mirror ball beads, shining in an oil slick rainbow and reflecting light in all directions.  In the top left corner of the heart there is a larger faceted purple crystal, and below it, a smaller red oval crystal. All of the pieces are set into electric blue resin and dusted generously with blue glitter. This is a really eye-catching and memorable heart!

This stunning piece of wearable art measures approx 5 by 6 cm at its widest points and weighs 17 g.  It can be attached to a chosen garment using a safety pin embedded in the resin on the reverse and can be worn on a variety of fabrics due to it's light weight.
