Z To 'B' - PINK HEART FOR ZANDRA RHODES, 2021

Andrew Logan's iconic heart brooches are one of his most loved pieces. Bringing love to every outfit, Andrew hopes this unique heart brings joy wherever it goes.

This sizzling hot neon pink heart has been inspired by Andrew's lifelong friend and inspiration Zandra Rhodes. It has been created using a large piece of hot pink mirrored glass. This glass has cracks in several places; these are incorporated intentionally - Andrew believes that the cracks bring good fortune.

This heart is bursting with beautiful, sparkling detail. In the top left corner you'll find a square pink faceted crystal and in the top right corner a teardrop-shaped faceted pink crystal. Both of these gems reflect and sparkle light in all directions. Between these two stones are two smaller pieces: a round, champagne coloured sparkling crystal, and a flower shaped, opalescent red / peach bead.

This heart is framed with a chain of sparkling round faceted crystals and tiny squares of magenta mirrored glass. The right side is covered with neon pink glitter with a couple of tiny oval pink gems to add even more sparkle.

Neon pink and multicolour glitter encases all edges of the brooch and a heart shape is created by setting these elements into a neon pink resin mould. This brooch has been signed, titled and dated by Andrew Logan on the reverse.

The heart brooch measures at just under 9.5 by 7.5cm at it's widest points and weighs 38g. It can be easily attached to your clothing using the gold safety pin on the back.
