LARGE PURPLE PAUA COSMIC EGG EARRINGS, 2023

Andrew Logan's iconic and original Wearable Art includes eye-catching statement earrings. This pair of unmissable Cosmic Egg clip on earrings were created by Andrew in 2023. 

These stylish statement earrings have been created using cracked and shattered mirrored glass, in the style of Andrew's iconic Cosmic Egg sculpture (1983).

The earrings feature several pieces of incredible Paua shell, which has an iridescent, opalesque quality and beautiful turquoise blue-green shimmer.

The glass pieces and shell have been set into white and black resin, which is covered in purple and silver glitter. The colours compliment each other perfectly and create a unmistakeable tribute to the Cosmic Egg. The earrings has been signed and dated by Andrew Logan on the reverse.

The clip-on fitments are silver in colour, embedded into the resin at rear.  These pieces are hand-made and each earring is slightly different in size, approximately 6.5 x 4 cm. They are fairly lightweight, with the pair weighing 34 g (18 and 16g).

This piece of wearable art has been created with love by artist Andrew Logan in his studio in Mid-Wales. These earrings will be packaged in a gift box and sent to you via Special Delivery.
