KRISHNA FLOATS - GOLD HEART WITH FISH, 2022

KRISHNA FLOATS was created by Andrew Logan in late 2022, in anticipation of his upcoming trip to his beloved India in January 2023.

This large, statement gold brooch is embellished with many details and trinkets collected on Andrew's travels, and is a golden celebration that will add more than a touch of glamour to any outfit.

At the centre of the heart is a golden beaded fish, made out of tiny golden beads and overlapped sequins. This fish is framed with circular golden trinkets with golden orange crystals, and a golden figure with a headress and collar of tiny red rubies. The edges of the heart are drawn with a golden chain. This has all been collaged with gold mirror glass, and set into black resin which has been sprinkled with gold glitter to give extra sparkle.

The mirrored pieces and figure are set into black resin and finished with a sprinkling of gold glitter. The brooch is signed, dated and titled by Andrew Logan in gold on the reverse.

This striking heart measures 15 by 12 cm at its widest points and weighs 78 g.  It can be attached to a chosen garment using a safety pin embedded in the resin on the back.

This piece of wearable art has been created with love by artist Andrew Logan in his studio in Mid-Wales. This brooch will be packaged in a gift box and sent to you via Special Delivery.
