PINK HEART WITH PURPLE & RED CRYSTALS, 2024

Andrew Logan's iconic wearable heart brooches are one of his most loved designs. Andrew hopes this unique heart brings joy wherever it goes.

This eye-catching and colourful pink heart has been created using a large piece of hot pink mirrored glass. This glass is intentionally cracked; Andrew often makes a feature of cracked and broken glass, believing that this will bring the wearer good fortune.

This heart is bursting with beautiful, sparkling detail. In the top left corner you'll find an oval shaped, purple faceted crystal, and in the top right corner there is a ruby red,  faceted crystal of the same size and shape. Both of these crystals shine light in all directions. Between these two stones is a small purple glass bead, and framing the ruby crystal is a circle of purple glass and gems.

A heart shape is created by setting these elements into a pink resin mould. The pink resin has been sprinkled with mainly purple glitter. This brooch has been signed, titled and dated by Andrew Logan on the reverse.

The heart brooch measures at just under 8 by 6.5cm at it's widest points and weighs 27g. It can be easily attached to your clothing using the gold safety pin on the back.
