RUBY RED BEADED HEART BROOCH, 2022

OH LA LA!

This classic, ruby red heart brooch was hand-made by Andrew in his Studio in Mid-Wales in 2022 and has been signed and dated on it's reverse.

This is a special heart indeed. Deep, ruby red in colour, it is wrapped on all edges by a string of tiny red beads, which give it an elegant and exquisite look.

This stunning yet simple red heart brooch has been created out of a large piece of deep red mirrored glass. This glass is cracked in several places, intentionally - Andrew Logan believes the cracks in his work bring his pieces good luck and longevity.

This glass is set off by two unusual and eye catching ruby red beads. The larger is smooth, with an unusual pearlesque leaf. The second is a faceted bead, marbled black and red. Between these beads are a line of red faceted crystals. The brooch has been set in black resin and embellished with red and multicolour glitter to create a stunning piece.

This is a unique piece of Andrew Logan's wearable art and would make a truly wonderful Valentine's gift, or perhaps a jewel to highlight your passionate nature.

It can be affixed to any item of clothing using the metal safety pin on the back. It measures just over 10 x 8 cm at its widest points and weighs 50g.
