SORCERER - SHELL & STONE BROOCH, 2022

SORCERER is an unusual piece of wearable art created by Sculptor Andrew Logan in late 2022.

At the centre of this striking brooch is a beautiful, smooth marbled stone in white and amber. To the top sides of this, are two polished, whorled shell pieces. Above these are two keshi pearls which add texture and shine. At the top of the brooch is a circle of mirrored glass. At the bottom of the brooch, lining the left and right edges are a three chains of diamanté crystals, and at the very bottom of the brooch a cross has been created using more keshi pearls, this time in a lighter shade of iridescent pearl. These elements take the form of a face, with the polished shells creating eyes deep in entrancement.

All of these elements are set into a white resin base and the edges have been dusted with white glitter.

This bewitching brooch measures approximately 5.5 by 10 cm at its widest points and weighs 47 g.  It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded in the resin on the reverse.

This piece of wearable art has been created with love by artist Andrew Logan in his studio in Mid-Wales. This brooch will be packaged in a gift box and sent to you via Special Delivery.
