ORIGINAL WATERCOLOUR OF BUNDI PALACE INDIA - ANDREW LOGAN 2006

Andrew Logan painted this original watercolour in 2006, when he visited Bundi, in the state of Rajasthan, in India. The palace was home to outstanding miniature paintings portraying the history of the palace and its royal family, then unfortunately a family feud resulted in it being abandoned.

Bundi has a delightful, rustic setting that stands on the foothills of the Aravali Mountains. Bundi is famous for its palaces and the beautifully decorated step-wells (Baoris) that date back in the 15th and 18th century and were used to collect water during the monsoon season. The Bundi Fort, is thought to be one of the most beautiful palaces in India and is set high on a hill overlooking Bundi and its Krishna blue stonewashed houses.

The original painting has been created in watercolour on quality art paper with approximate dimensions of 10 x 14 inches, or 25.5 x 35.5 cm. It has been titled, signed and dated by Andrew Logan and is a certified original which should not be copied without Andrew Logan’s written permission. The portrait-orientated watercolour is mounted on art board and supplied without a mount. It will be securely packaged as a flat parcel and posted using tracked delivery.
