LARGE OVAL BLACK RING, 2023

This new ring is part of a special collection of Wearable Art recently created by Andrew Logan, and styled by designer Roberta in her fabulous new collection, Desire For Duende.

Andrew Logan is famous for his plus size, outrageous ring designs and this is no exception! This simple, monochrome design is a striking and unusual - and will bring glamour and intrigue to every outfit. At the centre is a large black oval bead. This is has a smooth, matt finish and is reminiscent of Andrew's VOID themed Alternative Miss World event, staged in 1998. This oval is framed with six pieces of black mirror glass, which incorporate cracked and broken glass, which Andrew believes will bring the wearer good luck. At the top and bottom of the ring there is a black football shaped diamond, again with a matt finish.

All of these elements have been set into black resin, which has been covered on all sides by sparkling black and multicolour glitter. 

This piece measures approximately 7 by 5.5cm at its widest points and weighs 29g. It has an adjustable ring base that is made of silver-coated stainless steel.

This piece has been handmade with joy by Andrew Logan in his studio in mid-Wales. Each piece of Wearable Art is signed and dated by Andrew on the reverse.
