LONG OVAL BLACK RING, 2023

This new ring is part of a special collection of Wearable Art recently created by Andrew Logan, and styled by designer Roberta in her fabulous new collection, Desire For Duende.

Andrew Logan is famous for his plus size, outrageous ring designs and this is no exception! This simple, monochrome design is a striking and unusual - and will bring glamour and intrigue to every outfit.

At the centre is an irregular shaped, multi-faceted black bead. This is has a smooth, matt finish and is reminiscent of Andrew's VOID themed Alternative Miss World event, staged in 1998. The many sides of this unusual bead reflect the light, and more sparkle is added at the top and bottom of the ring, where Andrew has added irregular shaped pieces of black mirror and two black crystals. 

All of these elements have been set into black resin, which has been covered on all sides by sparkling black and multicolour glitter. 

This piece measures approximately 7 by 4cm at its widest points and weighs 27g. It has an adjustable ring base that is made of silver-coated stainless steel.

This piece has been handmade with joy by Andrew Logan in his studio in mid-Wales. Each piece of Wearable Art is signed and dated by Andrew on the reverse.
