Serenade of Roseade

New Wearable Art pieces by Andrew Logan, styled by Roberta for her new Summer 2025 Collection.

This gorgeous, one-off butterfly hair piece was created in 2023 as part of Andrew's series of Pollinators. 

It has been created using five pieces of royal blue mirror glass. The bottom half of the wings have been made using shards of broken iridescent, hand-made oil-slick glass, and two unusual pieces of blue-green pearl. The body of the butterfly has been created using a blue-green piece of razor shell, and the head is formed using a domed, flower shaped crystal, which shines light in all directions. The antenna have been painted Yves Klein Blue and topped with purple crystals, dusted with blue glitter. On the back of the wings, more pearl adds shine, interest and charm, next to glass etched with Andrew's signature. The butterfly has been robustly set into a dark resin and embellished with blue glitter to produce a hair accessory which is bound to garner compliments.

The Alice band is a comfortable, padded band covered in a vibrant blue, velour material. It has a width of approximately 3 cm and a length of around 37 cm, around the inside of the curve.  Andrew Logan hopes this one-off, designer piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.
