FACE NECKLACE - MAN'S SALVATION, 1993
Each piece of Andrew Logan’s jewellery is a unique work of art that embodies his joyful vision of the universe.
This necklace features a woman with two pony tails made of golden tassels. The face is created with shades of purple mirror glass, with gold mirror used for the mouth and two Indian eyes. The hat features black painted glass and black glass beads and crystals set over black resin, with the edges finished with black glitter and gold leaf used for the hair.
Many small black/brown beads are threaded together to form a necklace which is clipped to the sides of the pendant. There is also a safety pin embedded in the resin at the rear of the face, to allow you to wear it as a brooch, if that is your preference.
The woman's head measures approximately 4.5 by 7 cm and the widest part at the top of the pendant is around 8.5 cm. Overall the pendant has a length of around 9 cm and total weight of 66g. The beaded necklace measure 44 cm and the golden tassels are approximately 13 cm long
