BRONZE HEART BROOCH - EISTEDFODD FUN
Andrew Logan jewellery includes brooch pins, each of which is handcrafted and unique. His unisex lapel brooches can be a statement piece and each brooch bears Andrew Logan’s signature and the date it was created. Andrew Logan designed this heart brooch in 2015 and has named it 'Eistedfodd Fun'. He hopes his one-off piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.
This shimmering heart brooch features a large piece of glass which has been hand painted on the reverse side with metalic bronze coloured paint. A ribbed length of bronze cord runs the length of one side of the heart, leading to an amber square of glass at the bottom tip. The top of the heart features six bronze and green coloured jewels encased in metal fitments and a circular silver mirror disc surrounded by six orange moon shaped glass beads, again in gold metal fitments. An additional pale gold crystal and a fragment of blue glass complete the design and all the elements are embedded into dark resin with the edges decorated with mainly bronze glitter.
The distinctive heart brooch measures approximately 11 by 16 cm at its widest parts and weighs 100g. It can be attached to your favourite item of clothing using a safety pin embedded in the bright red resin on the reverse side, or could be threaded onto a ribbon or chain to wear as a statement necklace.
