CHRISTMAS TREE BROOCH - GIFTS
Andrew Logan jewellery is handcrafted and unique and often made using recycled material. For this Christmas brooch various figures sit amongst a green tree and the brooch has been named 'Gifts'. Andrew Logan's unisex brooches can be statement pieces and each bears Andrew Logan’s signature. Andrew Logan created this festive work of art in 2009 as part of his private collection but it is now released for sale. He hopes his one-off piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.
Eight various sized pieces of dark green mirror are set into resin to create the triangular shape of a Christmas tree. Five figures are added featuring a Santa Claus, a rocking horse, a toy soldier, wrapped presents and a teddy bear wearing a Christmas hat. In addition to the "gifts" and mirror fragments the brooch also includes; a rectangular, green crystal, two round, green beads and two gold, oval crystals. The resin is encrusted with vibrant green glitter and hanging from the base of the piece, is a red and pink, teardrop shaped, pearl bead. Brooches such as these are truly unique and make wonderful Christmas gifts, to add a touch of sparkle and fun to any outfit.
The brooch has a safety pin embedded in the reverse side so that the wearer has the flexibility to wear this statement piece as a brooch or alternatively, it could be used as a hanging decoration. The tree part of the brooch measures approximately 7.5 by 7.5 cm at its widest point and the suspended pearl is around 2 cm long by 0.5 cm wide. The overall length of the piece is approximately 10 cm and it weighs 36 g.
