"FALLOUT" - BLACK HEART WITH BLUE TIGERS EYE, 2024

This new brooch is part of a special collection of Wearable Art created by Andrew Logan in Spring 2024, and styled by designer Roberta in her fabulous new collection, Desire For Duende.

FALLOUT is a truly original black heart by Andrew Logan. It incorporates a piece of black meteorite which gives the piece it's name, which is placed next to an unusual piece of blue tiger eye stone.

The main body of the heart has been created using a beautiful piece of handmade glass, which has a painterly appearance, reminiscent of monoprints, or ink on an etching plate. The heart is characteristically asymmetrical, with an unusual curved shape. The piece has been set into black resin, which has been covered with black and multicolour glitter. This is a truly unusual and standout piece of Andrew's wearable art.

This piece measures just over 6cm by 11 cm at its widest points and weighs 45g. It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded into the back of the brooch. 

This piece has been handmade with joy by Andrew Logan in his studio in mid-Wales. Each piece of Wearable Art is signed and dated by Andrew on the reverse.
