GIFT ALMOS - MARBLED GLASS HEART, 2019

"GIFT" ALMOS is a delightful, balloon shaped brooch with a heart at it's centre. It was created by Sculptor Andrew Logan in 2019.

Utilising a pastel palette, this brooch has the adaptability to be worn as a brooch or as a necklace, or hung as a decoration, by attaching a chain using the hook at the top of the piece.

This piece has been built around a found stained glass heart, in beautiful shades of pastel pink and green marbled glass. Between these is a oval of iridescent glass that shines in shades of neon magenta, lime green, yellow and orange when turned.

Below this heart, a line of fragments of cyan blue mirrored glass line the left edge, and lilac-pink mirrored glass line the right. These meet a square and rectangle of clear mirrored glass at the bottom of the brooch.

This charming brooch measures approximately 9.5 by 7.5 cm at its widest points and weighs 46 g.  It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded in the resin on the reverse.

This piece of wearable art has been created with love by artist Andrew Logan in his studio in Mid-Wales. This brooch will be packaged in a gift box and sent to you via Special Delivery.
