GODDESS "J"  is an Indian inspired brooch taking the form of a boteh - a curved teardrop shape used in paisley patterns. It was created by Sculptor Andrew Logan in 2010 and is available to purchase for the first time now.

GODDESS "J"  is a simple but elegant design which will add some intrigue and interest to every outfit. The main body of the brooch is created using a semi-circle of corrugated mirror glass. This appears much more deep than it is, there is only a gentle wave on the glass surface. To the left of this is a smaller semi-circle of mirrored glass. At the curved top of the boteh is a pale pink, square facetted bead, which shines and reflects the light. To the left is a small piece of decorated glass from Andrew's collection, this one appears to have a metallic design behind it. All of these pieces are surrounded by a chain of orange beads. All of these elements are set into white resin, which has been sprinkled with pink glitter. The back of the brooch has been set into black resin, and bears the title of the piece, signed and dated by Andrew.

From the tip of the teardrop hangs a oval drop, pearlescent bead, with a pink tip. This bead dangles freely bringing some dynamism to the piece.

This unique brooch measures approximately 9.5 by 8 cm at its widest points and weighs 50 g.  It can be attached to your chosen garment using a gold coloured safety pin embedded in the resin on the reverse.

This piece of wearable art has been created with love by artist Andrew Logan in his studio in Mid-Wales. This brooch will be packaged in a gift box and sent to you via Special Delivery.
