PINK AND RED ORNATE BROOCH - LOTUS LOVER
Andrew Logan brooches are handcrafted and unique. His unisex brooch pins can be a statement piece and each brooch bears Andrew Logan’s signature. This stunning brooch was created by Andrew Logan in 2020 and is named 'Lotus Lover'. Andrew Logan hopes this one-off piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.
The ornate brooch is created in a figure of eight shape and features an round shaped disc of glass, depicting an image of a red jacket and white shirt beneath, on the bottom section and has an ornate piece of Indian embroidery at the centre of the top circle. The top section has twenty fragments of pink mirror glass arranged around the pink, green and gold embroidery piece, laid over a dark resin base and decorated with 24 pink and silver beads around the three quarters of the circumference. The outer edges of the top section are decorated with purple glitter and the inner parts with a combination of neon pink glitter and small white beads. The bottom section of patterned glass is also set into resin and encrusted with mainly bronze glitter and a orange, glass flower bead.
The brooch measures approximately 8.5 by 15 cm at its widest points and weighs 87 g. A safety pin is embedded in the resin at the rear of the brooch to allow this piece of statement jewellery to be fixed to your favourite outfit, or it could be threaded onto a chain or cord and worn as an eye-catching necklace.
