SILVER SANTA BROOCH
Andrew Logan jewellery is handcrafted and unique and often use recycled material. For this Christmas brooch, a silver trinket depicting Father Christmas, sits at the centre of the brooch which gives the piece its name. Andrew Logan's unisex brooches can be a statement piece and each bears Andrew Logan’s signature. Andrew Logan created this festive work of art in 2009 as part of his private collection but it is now released for sale. He hopes his one-off piece of wearable sculpture brings you joy.
Eight various sized pieces of dark green mirror are set into resin behind the trinket in a triangular shape reminiscent of a Christmas tree. The resin is encrusted with red glitter and hanging from the base of the piece, is a large bauble-like pearl with a gold-coloured collar. Brooches such as these are truly unique and make wonderful Christmas gifts, to add a touch of sparkle and fun to any outfit.
The Silver Santa brooch has a safety pin embedded in the reverse side so that the wearer has the flexibility to wear this statement piece as a brooch or alternatively, it could be used as a hanging decoration. The tree part of the brooch measures approximately 8 by 8 cm at its widest point and the suspended pearl is around 3.5 cm long by 1.5 cm wide. The overall length of the piece is 13 cm and it weighs around 57g.
