Two Day Jewellery Masterclass with Andrew Logan
A one-off chance to spend two days in beautiful Berriew making your own piece of wearable art inspired by artist Andrew Logan and his iconic jewellery designs.

Join world renowned sculptor, Andrew Logan at his Museum of Sculpture in Berriew, Wales for a refreshing break away, making your very own piece of jewellery inspired by Andrew's iconic jewellery designs.
The Workshop
This truly special workshop will begin with a tour of the Andrew Logan Museum of Sculpture and an introduction to Andrew's work. Andrew will guide you through his creative process and design techniques, and participants will have time to design their own unique brooch / pendant inspired by Andrew's work. Andrew encourages you to bring small mementos of your own to truly personalise your creation. Your piece of wearable art will be ready for you to take home at the end of the workshop.
All materials will be provided and included in the price of the masterclass. Light lunchtime refreshments will be provided.

Tuesday 29 August - arrival at The Lion Art Hotel from 4pm
Wednesday 30 August - Day 1: Introductions at The Andrew Logan Museum at 10am, tour and introduction to Andrew's work followed by workshop
Thursday 31 August - Day 2: Workshop continues, take away your own individual piece of wearable art by the end of the day!
Accommodation
Participants will have their own en-suite room at The Lion Art Hotel, Andrew's boutique hotel - giving you the chance to totally immerse yourself in Andrew's world, sleeping inside an artwork! Each room is decorated around a different theme running through Andrew Logan’s art: the elements ‘Earth’, ‘Water’, ‘Fire’ and ‘Air’, together with ‘Sun’ and ‘Void’, plus an especially royal ‘Regal’.
Beautiful Berriew
You will have time to explore the beautiful village of Berriew and will be encouraged to make the most of your trip while you are here, enjoying attractions in the local area, including the beautiful Powys Castle, currently showing a fantastic Kaffe Fassett exhibition.

This Workshop is suitable for everyone aged 16 +, no previous art experience is necessary. We expect this event to sell out quickly - places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment!
